NEOPHYTE

It was so great to shoot with Geena again after working together on this shoot a few years ago for Yesterday’s Virgins. We talked about rediscovering your creative streak, and what it’s like coming back to do artistic work after focusing on other, perhaps dryer areas of life. It’s intimidating - you don’t always feel like you know what you’re doing, and it can feel like you’ve reverted back to the start of your journey. I guess that’s why I called this set neophyte.

CHATTING WITH UNCANNYSFVALLEY

Casey's work is like diving headfirst into a Macbook - if that Macbook were decorated with holographic stickers, and had kink porn sitting on the desktop. The artwork of @uncannysfvalley seems all the more impressive once you realise it's all created right from an iPhone - Casey tells us she doesn't even own a computer. We chatted with Casey about increasing accessibility within the art world, how artistic motivation is borne out of this framework, and of course, Larry David.

SOPHIE

I loved having the opportunity to shoot with Sophie, she's honestly one of the sweetest angels I've had the chance to work with. She completely allowed me to take the reigns on styling myself in my own clothes, which was obviously fun for me. I took a bit of a chance on the HMU work for this shoot and used Kylie Lip Kit in Kourt K for the feature eye detail - might leave that to the professionals from now on, though...

Thanks for making me feel like a babe, Sophie!
